Fully automated analysis of particle size distribution in soil - ISO 11277 with the Skalar SP 50 and SP2000 robotic analysers: Efficient, reproducible and inexpensive.
The analysis requires very precise time steps, which can be performed much more easily by an analyser than by a human operator. Therefore Skalar developed two automation solutions. The SP50 analyser automates the removal of organic material/carbonates and the SP2000 robot platform automates the determination of the clay accumulation.
